Police Safety Minute: Don’t Be a Victim of “Jugging”

Safety Minute Jugging

This week Crime Prevention Officer Chris Bianez shares info in his Safety Minute to help you hang on to your money. Nearly every day, criminals unleash carefully-crafted schemes to separate you and your possessions. The newest of these sinister plans is called "jugging." You may have heard the term used in relation to fishing, where actual jugs are used to catch tasty water-dwellers (mostly for catfish).

What Chris refers to in this Safety Minute video is what happens to unsuspecting people after withdrawing large amounts of money from the bank. He explains key steps to take to prevent you from becoming a victim of jugging and from being confronted by someone wishing to “cash in” on your property.
