Engage Your Brain with Human Resources’ Display Case Design

The current Municipal Center lobby display (#15) pinpoints useful ways to enhance your brain’s functionality. In the cult classic “Little Shop of Horrors,” the plant-gone-wild makes one request, “Feed me, Seymour!” The current display design hammers the same message about our brains – feed it. 

“Engage Your Brain” was designed by Senior Wellness Coordinator Michelle Gifford from the Human Resources department. She said, “The theme focuses on lifestyle behaviors and the impact they have on brain health. Engaging your brain in a variety of activities stimulates growth of new brain cells and preserves the ones we have. Our brain health is dependent on environmental and lifestyle factors. Your health is in your hands!

The Municipal Center lobby display case is home to ever-changing images of:  Plano’s rich history, culture and vibrant samples of City programs, events and services. The glass display case near the Action Center Information Desk is one of the building’s best features.
