Manage Stress Together for Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental Health Awareness Month

With help from our One Voice Committee, Human Resources shares the message, “We’re in this Together!” No doubt, these are unprecedented times – filled with uncertainty and change. Now, more than ever, it’s important to remember that we are not alone.

Watch as members of Team Plano express hope and solidarity:

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and this focus is essential to everyone’s overall health and wellbeing. Facing challenges often impacts our mental health. The key is to recognize that getting help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

The City has many resources, which includes our Employee Assistance Program, available to support you and the people you care about, as you tackle life’s challenges.

Mental health a priority2As members of Team Plano, we are just that, a team. Baseball is a great example of a team sport – nine players on the field functioning as a single unit. As a team, when one player needs help (say, fielding a ball) others close the gap and give added support to their team member.

We are in this together. You are not alone. We are Team Plano!
