Were we taught as kids to give a portion of what we had because “sharing is caring?” Popeye fans may recall “I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today”…guess that’s sharing of a sort. A basic definition: it’s when one intentionally gives something of ourselves (i.e. time, money, resources, information, etc.).
Social media is all about sharing. When a person posts pictures of the family, vacations, a concert or a delicious meal, it’s because they’re excited to let others know about their experiences.
