Book-lovers who live for a well-written murder story get to meet one of the best crime mystery writers this month. Spend time with Lisa Gardner, the creator of fictional Boston Detective D.D. Warren on Thursday, February 21 at Haggard Library. No stranger to the New York Times Best Sellers list, Gardner visits Plano to read and talk about her latest hit “Never Tell.”
The new book, 13th in the series, is twisted with (of course) an unexplainable and vicious murder along with unpredictably dark turns before revealing what went on behind closed doors. Gardner appears as part of Plano Public Library’s Pop-Up Authors program which is supported by the Friends of the Plano Library.
This free literary event at 7 p.m. is followed by a book signing with the author – purchase books in advance or at the event. For a more interactive experience, buy tickets to the special reception which includes a copy of “Never Tell” and front-row seating at the book reading event. The reception begins at 6 p.m.
