Choose Your Benefits by October 25

Open enrollment get started

The deadline is just ONE WEEK away to complete the 2019 Benefits Open Enrollment process for pre-65-age retirees! You have until Thursday, October 25 at 3 p.m. to get it all done. Any changes or plan elections you make are effective January 1, 2019. Participation in Open Enrollment is MANDATORY.

There are no changes to plan design, deductibles or copays for 2019. All of the premiums are the same, except vision plan rates have decreased. Every benefit-eligible employee and retiree must log into PeopleSoft to:

  • Add or waive any insurance plan.
  • Complete the Tobacco Certification item; failure to do so defaults your status to “tobacco user.”
  • Add or drop dependents. You must provide copies of eligibility documents (marriage license, birth certificates, etc.) when adding dependents to your insurance.
  • Enroll a domestic partner every year. You must contact Human Resources to submit a Domestic Partnership Packet.

Hard copies of the Pre-65 Guide book were mailed to eligible persons and emailed to those who provided email addresses. Plus, a limited number of hard copies are available from Human Resources.
