    The “Top 10 Ways Employers Get Sued” program is a four-part series and will focus on pertinent employment law topics, including lawful questions to ask when interviewing, Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act of 2008, Title VII- Discrimination, Pregnancy Discrimination, Age Discrimination and USERRA. The training will provide managers a high level of understanding about the importance of accurate documentation and effective communication with their employees in order to mitigate potential conflict and legal liability. It is our hope that this series will also help provide supervisors and managers the necessary tools and knowledge to better assist them as they navigate complex employee relations issues.

When participants complete this session, they should feel comfortable with their understanding of the culture of the City of Plano and how they fit within that culture.
